This project, based in Kamasondo district of Lungi Sierra Leone, aims to increase food security and reduce the vulnerability of the cluster of farming families in the Kamasondo district of Lungi. This will be achieved by farmers becoming organised into co-operative groups to improve access to services and markets. In addition, will be trained in sustainable agriculture and crop diversification.
This project, based in Mokorewa, Moyamba Sierra Leone, aims to promote organic agricultural practices that will improve livelihoods and ensure sustainable use of natural resources. The project will also increase community livelihood through income-generating activities and greater use of bio-inputs and a progressive shift to organic and diversified farming systems.
